This
section of our site is intended to be used by teachers, counselors, social workers,
youth workers and all who seek to eliminate bias and prejudice in their classrooms
or communities. For those who wish to supplement multi-cultural lessons with hands-on
activities and those seeking ideas for teaching character or problem-solving to
any youth population, the following exercises can be a very useful resource.
YouthWEB's
mission to fight bias, bigotry and prejudice is a community effort. We are more
likely to reach greater numbers of children and teens when we enjoin the support
of those who already work with and for them. Working
to Eliminate Bias
through lesson-plan posting, activity swapping and idea sharing means that your
ideas and valuable expertise will be put to use by other like-minded professionals.
Please contribute often and share this site with your colleagues!
